CONDITIONS OF RESERVATION
Please Read Carefully
It is a condition of letting that the property is occupied only as a holiday let.
A deposit of £100.00 (per week booked), is required within one week of telephone conversation. The balance plus £100.00 "Good House Keeping Bond" must be paid one calendar month before arrival. Deposits will be returned should there be no vacancy. For late bookings of 4 weeks or less before holiday commencement date, the full amount is required with the booking form. The proprietors reserve the right to re-let the apartment if the balance is not paid when due. The proprietor reserve the right to adjust the tariff.
No bookings are accepted from persons under the age of 18. We do not accept all male/female groups and similar of a young age group. However, you may get in touch with the proprietors personally to discuss this. (An extra bond may be required).
Customers are strongly advised to take out "Holiday Insurance" to cover cancellation after a booking has been confirmed. A proposal form will be enclosed with our booking confirmation. No refunds can be made unless you have taken out holiday cancellation insurance. Customers are reminded that they are legally responsible for payment of the full amount should the accommodation not be re-let. No liability can be accepted, should the accommodation not be available due to circumstances beyond the control of the proprietors.
Telephone/email provisional bookings will be held for one clear week, pending receipt of deposit.
Accommodation is available from 2pm on day of arrival and must be vacated by 9am on day of departure to enable us to prepare for the next tenant. (Luggage can be accepted from 9am if required.)
The tenancy may not be sub-let, and is limited to the people stated at the time of booking, unless by prior arrangement with the proprietors. Under no circumstances are any persons (other than those on the booking form) allowed to use the facilities of the accommodation without the permission of the proprietors. Should permission be granted there is an additional minimum charge of £25 per person (per visit) per day.
TVs, radios or any other musical instruments must not be played in such a manner as to annoy neighbours. Ball games/skateboards/barbecues are not permitted within the boundaries (or on the balconies) of Waters Edge (the beach is 40 metres away).
The proprietors reserve the right to refuse accommodation, and any person/s whose behaviour interferes with the comfort and enjoyment of neighbours or other tenants, or is deemed unacceptable by the proprietors, will be required to leave without refund.
You have agreed to leave the apartment in the same clean and tidy condition as when you started your holiday. There will be a "charge" for losses, breakages and if required any "extra" cleaning your "Good Housekeeping" refundable bond will be adjusted accordingly. If damage/loss exceeds the £100.00, you will be charged for the difference. Please check the inventory on arrival and departure and report any discrepancies.
Should the hirer fail to give up possession at the end of the holiday or leave the accommodation in such a state and condition that it is not suitable for occupation by another hirer, he/she will be liable for the charges shown on the tariff schedule of the apartment for the period until it is so available and for any loss or damage which shall be occasioned thereby. The proprietors reserve the right to refuse to honour future bookings from hirers who leave the accommodation in an unreasonable condition.
Seagulls are classed as vermin and although very pretty, please do not attract them to Waters Edge by feeding them.
The proprietors have reasonable access to the accommodation to carry out their duties and to undertake any necessary maintenance.
The proprietors cannot accept responsibility or liability for any personal injury sustained by any person, or damage to, or loss of any property brought to the premises, including your vehicle in the car parking area. Please park within the marked spaces and car parking is limited to one family car per apartment booked. Other cars may be parked on the public road at the front of Waters Edge. No trailers or camper vans are permitted.
In conclusion we would like to say that these conditions have been drawn up in consideration to all our guests to ensure that you have a happy and enjoyable holiday with us.
